A tour of a little ethnographic museum with 26 stops, to be taken slowly.
26 panels describing cultivations, the use of the rooms and of the buildings of the farm, the activity carried out and the profession of men and women who have experienced the peasant economy.
26 stops that will enable you to rediscover the agricultural culture and traditions, the ancient origin of some irrigation techniques such as the water meadow, the tastes and colours of a rural world that is perfectly integrated with the natural environment of the Ticino Park.
Let’s discover together organic agriculture and the primary importance of biodiversity
As in nature, cultivations change according to the seasons, therefore sometimes the rice field will be a beautiful lake, other times it will be a ploughed field. Moreover, the rotation of the fields is an ancient technique allowing the soil to regenerate itself in order to provide nourishment to the cultivations.
Duration: approximately 1 hour
It represents an excellent opportunity to enter into the rural environment arousing memories and emotions that are part of an innate historical memory, just as our love for the soil.
